CLEARANCE!
To commemorate our latest edition of the Laundry Room we created a new serigraph. Our sixth edition of our quarterly publication, Laundry Room, is a celebration of “Winter Whites” – milky blooms, fresh snow, steamed milk, and stacks warm, freshly laundered towels. These printed feature the cover image "Bloom" screenprinted here in Portland in on recycled French paper.
What is a "broadside"? The most basic definition is a large piece of paper with print on one side only— posters, flyers, and advertisements are all examples. These were once commonly posted as announcements, and often discarded at the end of their usefulness. Today people collect these advertisements and appreciate the art made to have an immediate popular impact in a public space. Ours is a homage to this art form.
