As some of you know and many of you don’t, I was lucky enough to do artwork for the Obama Campaign this year (I was approached and hired by their design director and all of my work was volunteer). As part of my work for them, I hand lettered several quotes from female supporters all over the country. They were tweeted by Michelle Obama (yep, a highlight of my life) and many of them were shared all over the internet via the Women for Obama Facebook page. One of my favorites is today’s contribution to my 365 Days of Hand Lettering project.
I don’t talk much about politics on this blog, except about the issues that are the most personal to me. And this election, as a woman and as a gay woman, is very personal.
